One of my go to local chinese restaurant chains in the SE Houston area. They have your standard takeout style Chinese dishes but they also have more traditional Sichuan style dishes like the fried Sichuan jumbo shrimp, cumin beef, dry pot chili dishes, boiled Sichuan dish, etc. The quality of the food is great and and portions are excellent for the price. The various locations I have to been to in person are great for a sit down meal and service is prompt as well.
First time here. Went with my son in law during a lunch and it was really good. I had the Chicken in Garlic sauce. Great portion size and flavor. I chose an egg roll as my side item and yum!!
Since moving from SoCal I've experimented allot with Chinese here. Never happy...I placed my 1st order in person and waited. They gave me the wrong order so, not good when I got home. However, they did make it up and I have to say best Chinese so, far. I've had it 3 times now...about to order more. If you like pork fried rice...some of the best I've had anywhere... Thanks for doing the right thing...I'll keep coming back!
I love ordering from them! Their shrimp fried rice has tons and to s of shrimp! Another favourite is the green beans stir fry w/ wood ear mushroom (black stuff the restaurant does not know what they are called).
Food tasted amazing!!!! Great blend of spice and umami. We ate family style so we had a little bit of everything. My favorite dishes were the ox tongue and tripe and the cumin beef dish. The mapo tofu was also yummy, I just wish it had a little bit more of beef. The ambiance was very welcoming. This would be the type of place to take friends for a casual hang out or a first-time date. The place was also super clean! The service was hasty, too. After ordering our food came in about 15-20 mins. some food came a bit before the others(like 3-5mins before) but it was still great. I would definitely come back to this place and can't wait to try out their other locations!
Lunchtime Special was Awesome!! Triple 8's is Good Fortune and lucky for me that I ate here!! Tasty and Delicious selections and choices. I had the Lunchtime deal with eggdrop soup plus eggroll. Yummy and quite satisfying Then my main course was Mango with Chicken in garlic sauce. Very,very,very good Everything was great here and the service was outstanding too. Fast and prompt with a smile Awesome lunch experience ‼
